BMW B58 Engine among the brand’s best?
Consider the fact that the word “Motor” is in the brand’s name and it’s no longer surprising that BMW has made some incredible engines over the decades. While the brand’s “Ultimate Driving Machine” mantra sort of took over BMW’s reputation, it’s every bit as well known for making incredible powerplants as it is for making great handling cars. Over the brand’s one hundred years, it’s compiled a seemingly endless list of world-leading engines. Is this new BMW B58 engine among them?

It's called the GPV Colonel, and it was originally manufactured by a company called General Purpose Vehicles in Michigan. A quick internet search shows the manufacturer builds several such vehicles designed for military use, but exactly how Yadlowsky and his partners came upon this particular machine is something of a mystery. Another quick internet search shows Yadlowsky and GPV headquarters are only about 45 miles apart, so that could have something to do with it.. ....
The EV startup burned through $800 million by the middle of 2018 and was seeking an installment of $700 million from Evergrande as operating cash for the remainder of the year, which was expected to see the start of production for the FF 91. Evergrande allegedly refused to provide the $700 million, which triggered the arbitration that is being conducted in Hong Kong.....
