Chevy Corvette Sold for $3 Million at Auction
The Barrett-Jackson auction company got $3 million for the very first 2020 Chevrolet Corvette off the line at its January auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, with all proceeds going to a Detroit educational charity. The mid-engine C8 Corvette with VIN 001 gets the Z51 Performance package and the 495-hp 6.2-liter LT2 V-8, and the winning bidder was NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick.

After a short discussion about the Leh Keen’s lap in the cop car, the group moves onto the Honda Civic Type R, which will run the same course. There’s a brief introduction of the car that explains why it’s such a capable front wheel drive performance machine. Then, like the cop car, Keen puts it through the paces.....
Both outlets report that the new M3 will come with more than 510 horsepower, thanks to a slightly uprated version of the "S58" 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six found in the latest X3 M and X3 M Competition models...
I dread taking my car to a mechanic because I always walk away feeling like the mechanic over diagnoses me, overcharges me or treats me like an idiot. Junior's was the opposite. Very friendly and interested in my car.
