With a new generation of BMW 3 Series out, driving enthusiasts are curious to learn when the full-fledged M version will arrive. According to AutoExpress in the U.K., that will happen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. But a conflicting report from BMWBlog says a Frankfurt reveal is a bit strange, and the Geneva Motor Show in spring of 2020 is more likely.
That's because BMW has historically revealed its succeeding M3 model a year after the launch of a new, standard 3 Series. Nonetheless, both sites report that production of the next-generation "G80" M3 is slated for 2020.
Both outlets report that the new M3 will come with more than 510 horsepower, thanks to a slightly uprated version of the "S58" 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six found in the latest X3 M and X3 M Competition models. The new M3 could potentially come in two states of tune, with the standard model producing around 480 hp and the Competition model churning out around 510..

It’s been less than three years since the sixth-generation Camaro first went on sale, but Chevrolet decided to update the Camaro’s styling for 2019. Designers didn’t mess with the cabin, powertrain, or chassis, so aside from an updated infotainment system, the changes are almost entirely cosmetic. With that in mind, how does the Camaro’s new look compare to the outgoing model?
It's called the GPV Colonel, and it was originally manufactured by a company called General Purpose Vehicles in Michigan. A quick internet search shows the manufacturer builds several such vehicles designed for military use, but exactly how Yadlowsky and his partners came upon this particular machine is something of a mystery. Another quick internet search shows Yadlowsky and GPV headquarters are only about 45 miles apart, so that could have something to do with it.. ....
The issue will not end any time soon as automakers will add close to 10 million additional inflators to the record-setting recalls in January, according to the report from monitor John Buretta. More than 290 injuries worldwide have been linked to Takata inflators that can explode, spraying metal shrapnel inside cars and trucks.....
