Extra cargo space in the front, where the internal-combustion engine is traditionally located, is one of the many benefits of having a fully electric powertrain. We're used to electric cars having frunks, but we've yet to use one in a pickup truck.

However, an application filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has given us the first look at Ford's upcoming all-electric F-150 pickup's front trunk.
